STI is offering a partial or full scholarship grants for academically deserving students. If you want to study in any of the STI campuses, you may now file your application online.

What is STI Open Scholarship (SOS) Program?

The STI Open Scholarship (SOS) Program aims to provide partial and full scholarship grants to academically deserving students. Through the program, the institution extends its assistance to students and their families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Who can apply for the scholarship?

  • The program is open only to all incoming Grade 11 Senior High School (SHS) and first year college students this coming School Year 2024 from any DepEd-recognized public or private high schools in the Philippines.
  • No grade requirements for eligible interested applicants.

What are the benefits under the scholarship?

Eligible students will either receive full or partial scholarship.

Government Educational Assistance Programs

STI provides scholarship grant on tuition fees for qualified members, family members, or dependents of the following government institutions

New students and transferees who are qualified members, dependents, or have family members of up to the 6th civil degree of consanguinity and/or affinity will get 20% tuition fee subsidies in senior high school and college.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Incoming Grade 11, college freshmen, and transferees in their first, second, third, and fourth years are eligible for the GSIS-STI Educational Assistance Program;
  • Subsidy amount will vary depending on the student’s program and campus;
  • Student applicant must enroll in all of his prescribed subjects for the full term;
  • Student may retain his/her GSIS-STI EAP scholarship grant for the succeeding terms provided s/he follows the retention requirements.

Application Requirements:

Student applicants must coordinate with their STI campus for the application.

  1. Accomplished GSIS-STI Educational Assistance Form (to be provided by the STI campus onsite)
  2. Clear back-to-back photocopy of the UMID card with the cardholder’s signature
  3. Presence of the GSIS member and/or pensioner with a valid GSIS UMID card
  4. Proof of relationship between the GSIS member/Pag-IBIG Loyalty or Loyalty Plus cardholder and his/her dependent (i.e. Birth Certificate)

Pag-IBIG scholarship grant

New students who are members or qualified dependents of a Pag-IBIG Loyalty or Loyalty Plus cardholder up to 2nd civil degree of consanguinity and/or affinity may get 10% scholarship grant benefits when they enroll in their chosen Senior High School or College program. For School Year 2024, they will get an additional 10% scholarship benefit to continue their education amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, providing a total of 20% scholarship grant on tuition fees for this school year.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Incoming Grade 11, college freshmen, and transferees in their first, second, third, and fourth years are eligible for the Pag-IBIG – STI Educational Assistance Program (EAP);
  • The additional 10% is only applicable for the First Term of School Year 2024;
  • On top of the 10% for SY 2024, the scholarship grant amount will vary depending on the student’s program and campus;
    • Incoming college freshmen and transferees will get 10% scholarship grant on Tuition Fees only
    • Incoming Grade 11 students who are not DepEd voucher holders will get 10% scholarship grants on Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees
    • Incoming Grade 11 students who are DepEd voucher holders will get 10% scholarship grant on Other Fees
    • Incoming Grade 11 students who are DepEd voucher holders who will enroll in an STI campus with no top-up are not eligible for the PAG-IBIG – STI EAP program
  • Student applicant must enroll in all of his/her prescribed subjects for the full term;
  • Student may retain his/her Pag-IBIG – STI EAP scholarship grant for the succeeding terms provided s/he follows the retention requirements.

Application Requirements:

Student applicants must coordinate with their STI campus for the application.

  1. Accomplished Pag-IBIG – STI Educational Assistance Form (to be provided by the STI campus onsite)
  2. Clear back-to-back photocopy of the Pag-IBIG Loyalty or Loyalty Plus card with the cardholder’s signature
  3. Presence of the Pag-IBIG Loyalty or Loyalty Plus cardholder with their valid Pag-IBIG Loyalty card and ID
  4. Proof of relationship between the GSIS member/Pag-IBIG Loyalty or Loyalty Plus cardholder and his/her dependent (i.e. Birth Certificate)

DepEd Senior High School Voucher Program

Subsidy and Voucher Programs

STI accepts the following grants and voucher holders from the Department of Education (DepEd), Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), and Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) in all campuses nationwide.

Incoming Grade 11 students from Public Schools will automatically get a Senior High School Voucher from the Department of Education.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The voucher amount will depend on the school’s total school fees for the student’s chosen program;
  • SHS Vouchers are redeemed within the first semester of the school year immediately after JHS completion. The SHS voucher is no longer valid if not used within the aforementioned period.

Application Requirements:

Students with the DepEd SHS Voucher may coordinate with their STI campus for the voucher redemption at their school

Tertiary Education Subsidy TES

Incoming college students from cities and municipalities with no State University and Colleges (SUC) or Local University and Colleges (LUC) in their area may apply for the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES).

Terms and Conditions:

  • The TES amount will depend on the student applicant’s program and area as declared by UniFAST;
  • Student applicant must enroll in all of his/her prescribed subjects for the full term;
  • Student beneficiaries may get allowances for their books, supplies, boarding, and other personal expenses related to their studies as declared by UniFAST.
