MANILA, Philippines – The October 2022 Electronics Engineering ECE and Electronics Technician ECT licensure exam results, including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees (topnotchers), and performance of schools, are expected to be released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Electronics Engineering in 3-6 working days after the last day of exams.
The Electronics Engineering board exam was conducted on October 8-9, 2022, while the Electronics Technician on October 10, 2022, at testing centers located at Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Electronics Engineering Chairman, Engr. Alnar L. Detalla and its members, Engr. Enrico Claro R. Delmoro and Engr. Herminio J. Orbe.

Release of Results
As per PRC Resolution No. 1439 series of 2021 entitled “Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2022“, the October 2022 Electronics Engineering board exam results will be released on or before October 26, 2022.

Schedule of Registration
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technician will be held on the following date(s):

Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
- One (1) piece short brown envelope
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The verification of ratings and test results for the October 2022 ECE and ECT licensure exams will be available online a few working days after posting results.
Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.
As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name, last name, and the birthdate.
Oath-Taking Ceremonies
The oath-taking ceremony for newly Licensed Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians can be done online, now referred to as the “e-oath.” The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal at and select “e-OATH” as a transaction.
Inductees are required to print the “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.
Meanwhile, PRC has started scheduling face-to-face oath-taking for newly licensed professionals. This section will be updated should PRC conduct face-to-face oath-taking for new ECE-ECT 2022 passers.

ECE Board Exam Summary (Statistics)
Electronics Engineering board exam is one of the programs with average number of examinees conducted by PRC.
In the most recent exams held on April 2022, 897 out of 1,925 passed the ECE, while 1,139 out of 1,337 hurdled the ECT. Eugene Loreno Filomeno from South Luzon State University ranked first in the ECE exams having 92.10%, while Gabriel Jeiyo Mangalino Gob topped the ECT with a 94.00% rating. The University of the Philippines Diliman was the top-performing school in ECE with an 85.71% overall passing rate, while Mapua University Manila topped the ECT by 96.77%.
During October 2021 ECE-ECT, 710 out of 1,484 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination, and 738 out of 974 hurdled the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination. David XYZ Temple Callena from the University of Southeastern Philippines – Davao City, ranked first in the ECE exams, earning 92.80%. At the same time, Mark Justine Ramos Cudiamat from the University of Batangas topped the ECT exams having 95.00.
During October 2019, 2,460 out of 4,977 examinees passed the ECE while 2,589 out of 3,775 hurdled the ECT. Neil Kenneth Tamina Mendoza from University of Santo Tomas ranked first in the ECE exams having 92.00% rating followed by Hannah Joy Dumaoal Fadullon from Colegio de Dagupan garnering 91.80%. In the ECT exams, Neil Kenneth Tamina was also the topnotcher having 94.00% rating followed by Christian Blanza Barrieta from Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Taguig having 92.00%. UP Diliman was the top performing school in the ECE having 97.30% overall passing rate while Mapua University – Manila in the ECT having 96.99%.
